I am currently in the building process with about 6 weeks left. I am actually having blown foam insulation put in today, and all of my contractors have had nothing but wonderful things to say about your plans, how clear and precise they are and how they couldn't believe I got them online at the great price I paid. Will send pictures upon completion. Thanks again!

The Cherrywood - HPG-1654-1
My wife and I decided to build a house after searching for the perfect house plan. We came across this plan and made a few modifications to it, including making the kitchen/living room/laundry room a little larger, adding a deck, and adding trayed ceilings instead of vaulted ones.
Some of our favorite features are the large kitchen, master bath and master bedroom. IT is great. We love it!!!!!
We purchased a beautiful country lot on May 8th 2009, and our home was completed February 8th, 2010. As we watched the house being built I kept telling my husband to ""pinch me"" this has to be a dream. We named our home CASA BELLA meaning house beautiful. We moved in February 19th, 2010, and we still feel the excitement every time we unlock the door...
We would definately recommend House Plan Gallery to anyone...

The Montrose - HPG-1638-1
I had a chance to get something that I wanted, so I took it, and so far it has been the best thing I've ever done.
It took us two years of planning, my wife and i must have gone over 3,000 house plans before we found the HPG-1638-1. We just "had to love it" because this house was going to be the first and last house we build.
Some of my favorite features in the home include the big windows in the front of the house, the big garage, and the wonderful living room.
I started building my home on January 8th, 2009, right around the time when I left for Iraq for the 2nd time. It took me a long time to get all of the paper work in line, just due to being in iraq, and well as you can guess, building a house was not fun from 6,000 miles away but my wife was up to the challenge.
I did a lot of the building myself on R&R's from Iraq, just to save on some money and to be able to say that I helped build my home. The house is not yet done, but we should be moving into the house in about 6 weeks when i get back from Iraq, and my family can't wait for it.
Building this house really brought my family together and we've become much closer. I have recommended House Plan Gallery to some friends, who have also got plans from them, and will be starting to build soon. I will recommend the guys at HousePlanGallery.com to anyone that wants to build their dream home....
The Dogwood Lane - HPG-2755-1
The house plan was perfect... Its really hard to just name a few features that I like about this home design, but my favorites are: the tray ceiling in the Dining and Master Bedroom; the porch in the back; the bedrooms being completely on the other side of the house from the master bedroom; and the large oversized garage with the workshop area.
When we purchased the plans, we wanted to find a contractor that would actually build the plans "to the letter" of the actual working drawings, so we asked the local building inspector for recommendations. We found a contractor from that recommendation, and the ball started rolling from there.
We made a few modifications to home, onsite, including moving the fireplace to better allow for the placement of a full video/audio center cabinet. We also screened-in the porch and made the fourth bedroom a little larger so as to serve as my wife's scrap room. However, the largest modification was made on the bonus room, where we stick-built the roof to add an additional 1,500 sq ft which will include a full bath with a ~ 500 sq ft game room, 300 sq ft computer/media room, and a 700 sq ft home theater. This upper level is under construction as we speak and I can't wait to get in there!
The porch was screen-in and the 4th bedroom was made larger to the wife's scrap room. Bathroom was removed to add space. Also window was added to wall where no window appeared in plan to add sunlight. However the largest modification was done to the Bonus Room. The roof was was stick built to add an additional 1500 sq ft. that will include a full bath with a 500 s/f game room, 300 s/f computer/media room and a 700 sq ft Home theater. This upper level is a home project under construction as I write.
The home is great and a great layout. Great for entertainment and to enjoy after a long day at work.

The Cherrywood - HPG-1654-1
Friday, February 13, 2009 -I left my home in Gulfport, MS around 4pm on a three hour drive to Alabama. My best friend, Darryn, was with me and we had to attend a Board meeting at 8pm that night, and a Membership meeting the next morning. Mary Martha, my girlfriend who lives with me, was at her father's house in Ocean Springs, MS. Her father was 92 years old and on his death bed, she was staying with him till he passed. There are no phones where I was staying, in Alabama, and cell service is limited.
Around 11:30 pm a fellow member of our club, who lives in the area, came by and woke us up. He explained that I needed to get home because I had a fire at home and there was a hole in my roof. My buddy and I drove around and found cell service. I was able to get in touch with Mary Martha and she filled me in. Her father had passed away and my house was burned beyond repair. We made the trip back to Gulfport safely. The Red Cross set us up with a place to stay and provided us with money for meals for the weekend. They also gave us a debit card for clothes and necessities purchases.
My insurance company ended up declaring the house a total loss. Mary Martha's family offered us to stay in her father's house until we figured out all of our requirements in dealing with the insurance company. We ended up renting her father's house from the estate of the family, while our new house was under construction.
Our next step, after demolishing the old house, was to decide on a house plan and get quotes from builders. After weeks of internet and local building store searches, we finally decided on a house plan that best meet our needs and wants. We found the HPG-1654-1 house plan and you can imagine how surprised we were when the plans came in and we saw that they originated from Hattiesburg, MS.
Darryn called me and told me he had bumped into a friend of ours that we had gone to high school and played baseball with. That friend was Johnny Willis and he was a building contractor. I called Johnny and about four other contractors and got bids for building my new home. After alot of discussions and visits to view some of the work completed and in progress, I decided on Mr. Willis. Johnny also did his own framing, this made it easy to make adjustments without having to get the plans re-drawn. Johnny stated he would have it finished in 90-120 days.
He started in May of 2009, and even with the MAJOR changes, that effect building in the City of Gulfport by the Code Office and FEMA regulations, due to Hurricane Katrina. He was able to complete the project inside the alotted time frame. And in September of 2009, we moved in and became the happy owners of a beautiful House Plan Gallery home. We are very happy with our house plans from House Plan Gallery. We literally viewed thousands of houseplans over several years and fell in love with the one we are building from House Plan Gallery. The plans were easy to read, detailed, and the layout was very practical with no wasted space. We would highly recommend House Plan Gallery to anyone looking for their next house plans!

The King Road - HPG-1855-1
Before anything else, you should know that I wish with everything in me that there wasn't a reason for this new house.
Four and a half years ago my wife and I were leading an ideal life. We were just starting to relax in our retirement and taking great joy from watching our four son's families grow.
But a head-on collision changed everything. It was one of my oldest sons, one of my twins. For a while we didn't believe he'd survive. And in a way, my Chris, my son I'd loved for 43 years, didn't.
Chris is 48 now. He's paralyzed on his left side and suffers from extensive brain damage. He requires total care, which his Mother and I give round the clock.
His medical condition is the reason for our new house. Our old home place was very secluded; which at one time we loved. But since Chris has frequent seizures, we need an ambulance to be able to find us fast. Also, we need to be closer to his doctors and physical therapist whom he sees three times a week.
The most imperative need for building, though, is that everything must be handicap accessible. I'm 70 and my wife, Betty, is 68 years old. So the idea of not having to fight his chair through doorways or squeeze down halls is quite appealing. And we're looking forward to the handicap bathroom like kids look forward to Christmas!
I LOVE the large rooms in this home design and the layout is absolutely perfect for our needs with no wasted space...
While I continue to pray my child will be made whole again and we wouldn't NEED this new house; it will be a great blessing and we are eager for the relief it will bring to our lives.
This is a great house for our family's needs and we would definately recommend House Plan Gallery home designs to anyone...

Driftwood Cove - HPG-1955-1
This was our second house plan purchased from House Plan Gallery, Inc. We had a great experience both times that we purchased. The first house we built was a spec house to sell and it sold before we were even finished building! The floor plans are great with minimal wasted space. We have just purchased the second house plans and are so excited to start building as this will be for us! Stephen was great and answered all of my questions and gave great suggestions on things we could do! Thanks House Plan Gallery!
